Everything Trump touches is a scam. I know people like this personally. It’s a form of mental illness. Also, not recognizing it (and it’s danger when placed on the world stage) is its own form of mental deficit. Defending it as Sara Sanders does is, at best, craven, and at worst, criminal or evil.
Thoughts on Bumblebee
Bumblebee was a frustrating movie. Close to being good but falls short. It had some genuinely sweet and tender moments in it however...
1. John Cena was in a totally different, much more cartoonish movie
2. Weapon damage was so inconsistent and basically just whatever they needed to happen at any given time
3. The pacing was really inconsistent.
Bummer.
Star Trek Mega Suite: 50th Anniversary
It's tough to properly convey the deep feelings of nostalgia, familiarity and passion these songs produce in me. They, and the narratives they represent, are part of me.
Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Trailer
Looks like some fun new sci-fi show. I just wish they’d also create a Star Trek show
Overcoming Trauma
In my experience, so very few people understand this philosophy. You get to decide how you react to things. You get to decide if you're a victim or a victor. You get to decide the meaning of what happens to you and for you.
Democrats On The Offensive
I love Stephen Colbert and hate Trump, but Stephen misses the point entirely throughout this monologue.
1. Trump owning the shutdown is exactly what his base wants to see. Owning a shutdown being “bad” is old school political thinking. In Trumpland, standing up for your convictions is seen as strength. Nancy and Chuck look like old fools.
2. Trump's tweet about the wall wasn’t pretending the wall both exists and doesn’t exist. He’s claiming he’s secured the border despite “Democrats” standing in his way to build the “proper” solution. He’s smart.
If liberals keep pretending he’s stupid and his base is stupid, they’re going to lose the next election too.
New Startup!
They say a founder should only have one startup at a time. Rules were meant to be broken. Welcome to the family!
Positive Affirmations
You are loved. You are enough. You are good enough. You deserve the best. You should not accept violence in your life.
Simple ideas that so few people internalize for any significant period of their conscious experience.

A Swimming Pool Needs 4 Things To Be Awesome
A swimming pool needs 4 things to be awesome
1. An awesome area to lay out (preferably along the long side)
2. A great view or epic surroundings
3. An infinity edge
4. An attached/nearby hot-tub!
So many places get this wrong
If You're Working On Static/Offline Files . . .
Regular Reminder: If You're Working On Static/Offline Files, Please Stop
* Documents -> Google Docs
* Spreadsheets -> Google Sheets
* Designs -> Figma/Zeplin (best), Invision (Worst Case)
Etc etc
If you're sending an attachment then you're probably failing at modern workflow.
And yes, yes I know many legacy companies still insist on this - do your part to push back and fix the system!

Trump Ordered Hillary Clinton, James Comey Prosecution
Breaking news!! Trump is actually as corrupt and dangerous as he presents himself to be! Amazing!
How is this more shocking than the blatant obstruction of justice he’s performing on a daily basis? Shrug. None of it matters to half of Americans anyway:

Communication & Consistency
A huge (yet underrated) part of success is just showing up consistently. Another is communicating clearly.
There’s Right And There’s Wrong . . .
“There’s right and there’s wrong. You stand up for what’s right and you fight what’s wrong.”
