I love how the characters in most movies or TV shows based on a well-known premise or mechanic usually have no knowledge about any other movie or TV show with the same premise or mechanic.
For example most zombie movies pretend there’s never been a zombie movie and Russian Doll on Netflix pretends there’s never been “Groundhog Day”
I think I’ve seen only a few exceptions to this - for example in the Stargate TV shows and Deadpool.
