Sometimes people ask me why I like Porsche over other, flashier sports cars/brands.
Porsche reminds me of Apple. They’re not always first, they’re not always flashy in terms of fancy shapes, but when they include new features they are usually integrated into the simplest (and most elegant) platonic shapes with the highest engineering standards.
The result, is a kind of balance and refinement that other brands can only aspire to. All while feeling more visceral and confidence inspiring than anything else I’ve driven.
Take this video, for example. None of the drama of a McLaren or Lamborghini - but just as effective (if not more).
Don’t get me wrong, though - I still enjoy those other brands too!
